I get the @amazonpay game for online payments, but I'm not sure I understand the merchant play. Thoughts @BrianRoemmele?

Daniel, great question. The merchant gains lower barrier to transaction and implied umbrella effect of the Amazon brand. It's quite powerful

I think it’s all about friction, both with payments and assistants, and the lowest friction is in OS integration.

Daniel, I hear ya. For over 80 years nearly 80% of the US public used a system that required extraordinary friction, S&H Green Stamps.
