Jeff, thank you. Indeed. There is a roadmap to no acquirer. Put simply, if you can send PtoP for at 0% you can send PtoB at 0%.

Core function of acquirer is to hold risk on a merchant's transactions when a consumer can dispute after the fact. Who holds w/o acquirer?

If you want to eliminate disputes, that's one way to eliminate risk. Consumers aren't huge fans of that model generally.

Apple can act as the mediator, like PayPal does, but Apple would be forced to offset that dispute risk and become the middle man.

Scott, Good points. Apple could do this or partner to have it done. It does this on a scale with App store. Partner opportunities here.
