Paul, Great question. The assumption is some files contained images, assuming a minimal lossy scan tech, conceivable?
I was assuming typewritten documents. Historically probably not true, but as a way of visualizing data more interesting
(If you include images it becomes arbitrary - how much resolution per image?)
My guess 1 page = 2kb, 10” drawer @ .1 mm per page, 90% full = 27432 pages = 54Mb per drawer * 3000 drawers = 153 GB.
