Obvious problem with voice UIs is that we don't have general AI behind it. But voice isn't always a good UI even talking to a real person.

You wouldn't necessarily want to call a shop, talk to an employee and have them list out all the products sold - better to see the options.

That is, challenge with voice UIs is as much the output as the input - often you want a vocal question but a visual answer.
