@BrianRoemmele the biggest problem is the infrastructure and retailers don't want to pay. Could banks and Apple pay for it instead?

@michaelpang115 The pattens I have discovered are interesting. One is based on circular patterns radiating from Apple Stores. First movers.

@BrianRoemmele that makes sense. if Apple and banks were to subsidize the cost of terminals, it would speed up adoption and strengthen it

@michaelpang115 I hear ya. It turns out adoption is doing great thus far. Example ~70 of the pop can use #ApplePay at supermarkets.

@BrianRoemmele for example cvs, walgreens etc don't have them. It seems a lot of pharmacies haven't adopted yet.

@michaelpang115 Yes, I predict a temporary state of affairs. My early data suggests Duane Reade seen a noticeable sales lift from #ApplePay

@BrianRoemmele @michaelpang115 To be sure. CVS, Rite Aid, Target et all have not enabled Apple Pay due to business exclusivity clause.

@BrianRoemmele @michaelpang115 NOT because of lack of infastructure support. In fact they do have the compatible infrastructure HW already
