I find voice UIs to be the worst offenders of buried options. I have no idea why my google home can do and it fails me so often that I stopped guessing what it could do.

Pete, in hear ya. This is the artifact of not thinking in new paradigms but to make voice act like text. If I was leading this, you would know what was available and intuitively connect you to work to be done.

Brian, wishing you a Happy New Year! Do you think 2020s will be when we will build Voice UI, using Voice UI? Will we jump to
#nocode platforms that allow anybody to build Voice Apps using Voice UI? -
Prem, thanks for asking. We are getting closer. However thus far the
#VoiceFirst revolution has been a consumer driven phenomena. Most tech companies are ignoring it. Thus it will take the gen V kids some time to filter up to move the old folks away. Perhaps in 5 years. - 1 more reply

A voice only future is an exclusionary future. I’m deaf and have dysmorphic speech. Voice recognition and I do not have a good relationship.

Benjamin, I hear ya. I build all of my systems with ful American Sign Language recognition. This is vitally Important to me. It is my hope we all learn ASL in middle school. It is a powerful voice.
