It was 1950 and Isaac Asimov spoke of "three laws of robotics” he first published in the "I Robot" collection of sci-fi short stories. This was one of his first public explanations of these laws. More timely in 2019 then in 1950. He saw for us—so we can see better today.pic.twitter.com/Kedr9Og8be

Unfortunately, he left out Law 3A, which is that a robot may not press the button on a web site that says “I am not a robot”. I didn’t used to matter, but robots are better at CAPTCHA than I am now.

Thx 4 the video. I now realize how Asimov astutely built the laws to help with his story writing process. It’s basically the three act structure. The laws are the setup(1st act)the violation of the laws is the complexity(2nd act)and the hero finding the flaw is the climax(3rd act)
