I want to get excited but I've seen Qualcomm's history of actually getting products to consumers. And I worked there for more than a decade.

Qualcomm's chipsets are used by everyone in spatial computing except
@magicleap and Apple (and Apple relies on its 5G radios). It doesn't go direct to consumers, it relies on OEMs to do that. But good point. Apple can match it because of its control of everything. - 1 more reply

The video Microsoft created for HoloLens is much better than this Qualcomm video. And Microsoft did it 2/3 years ago using LTE. 5G promoters really, really, really NEED to up their talking points.

It occurs to me that for some use cases (like this one), equipping all participants with AR glasses running off a shared data stream obviates the need to employ an expensive holographic projection system.
