Who is the woman in this video? What was her career?

Z, great question. This is a Xerox PARC engineer playing out a simple senerio for an internal video presenting the early elements of the technology to be used in epoch “1990s”. It was trying to solve the real world problem of paper management that frankly still exists today.

Brian, this is spectacular! Thanks for sharing! Is there an online archive of other such Xerox PARC experiments and demos? +

Thank you! I really appreciate it. Indeed I have a library of videos from 100s of tech companies including Xerox PARC. Many were simply throw in the trash. I will publish a lt more soon. I fully agree, Walter can write a few books on this stuff!

Yes apple did not invent it, Xerox also invented the mouse & GUI apple used. The guy who invented the pinch multi gesture interface was bought by Apple who obs initially dismissed it, so much for the history of apple & jobs

claiming they invented it.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
