It was 1962 and Alan Watts has a message for 2019. It is about technology and money. Many called it “mombo-jumbo” in that era —I suspect many will see it as “mombo-jumbo” in this era. We will live in a period where technology will grant us freedom—but not the wisdom to use it.pic.twitter.com/tCsHruYLNe

Technology exists to serve humanity. Therefore, the data, the knowledge that informs that technology how to best fulfill that purpose becomes more and more valuable with each technological breakthrough.

Atomic energy is a good example. The clean water crisis, and other crises, are really energy crises. Atomic energy could take us a long way, but lacking wisdom, we develop it to blow stuff up instead. Countries defending limited resources that do not need to be limited. Silly.

The most valuable resource in the world today is not gold, bitcoin, or any currency or commodity. It is the collective personal, intention and attention data of every individual alive today. When people finally have control over that data they will have freedom they never knew.

Finite fossil fuel created 8 billion man. Petrodollar ending, virtual money endless, food finite, debt a dog, 8 billion lambs, 8 billion cans. "To serve man" a product for an Alien shelf in a galaxy coming soon.pic.twitter.com/ki653GO4m3
