It is 1988 and the astonishing Isaac Azimov explains to Bill Moyers the concept of change Since the industrial revolution the rate and force of change continues to become orders of magnitude higher. Every company needs an expert of change—I play this clip to retainer clients.pic.twitter.com/SUnjtYKcKJ

Brian,as an asperger, my mind works literally very differently, and it somehow helps me to see change and future much clearly. Yet,when I mention about changes to come (with good intention),often got ignored or dismissed, should I just don’t bother??

Frank, I hear ya. Don’t give up. Keep thinking. And if there is no one left to listen, call me. I will always listen. Never give up.

love reading Asimov! reminds me of the way James Burke would tie together change and events over centuries through his Connections series - we must appreciate how things evolve over time and the context and constraints and opportunities it presents https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connections_(TV_series) …pic.twitter.com/BergC5jPvl

I have such conflicting thoughts and emotions about Asimov. Probably not worth going into here but suffice to say many, but not every thought of his was gold.

Yep, this exactly. I look at previous generations and see how difficult it is for some to adapt to change, and I look at the increasing rate of change, and wonder if later on, I'll have similar struggles to adapt.
