While the #VoiceFirst platforms discovered novelty voices of celebrities with no true persona shift and-childish-cursing.
In my garage lab Mr. http://Hoss.Best is no novelty, is not famous and never given to cussing.
With a true persona, he is—refreshing and here—now.https://twitter.com/BrianRoemmele/status/1191784930604240896 …
Andy, thanks for asking. Cursing is lazy, uncreative and not useful in any #VoiceFirst persona. There are new examples and there will be more until the cesspool fills with it. Interesting shock value but where does it end? We already learned this lesson.https://ew.com/celebrity/2019/09/26/samuel-l-jackson-amazon-alexa-voice/ …

Are you basing this on the poverty-of-vocabulary hypothesis? Or some specific linguistic
#VoiceFirst research? -
Andy, great question. I base this on empirical research on
#VoiceFirst systems since the 1970s. I base it on psychology studies since the 1890s. I base it on anthropology studies for 20000 years. There was no thought really done in this novelty—it hurts Amazon and Mr. Jackson.
