Rob, indeed. It violates Legal Tender laws beyond local laws in some places. Turns out many experts don’t know this. The big thing is the massive surge in cash, bigger increase in history. Interesting times.

I know of one pet store that moved in this direction and was quite successful doing so. With more of their business moving online there was quite and advantage in not having employees need to make change, defend cash supplies, or go get small bills and coins daily.

See what happens when places try to force places like amazon to take cash. While it may be more people holding on to physical cash; doesn’t mean it isn’t on the way out; (ie. checks in the US) are still a thing but that doesn’t make it any less on the verge of being obsolete
