Pɾҽɱ, thanks for asking. A great product I use. The difference here in Google Pixel 4 is the system is entirely local on the device with no need for an internet connection. It changes everything when you don’t need a cloud.

Presumably running the speech recognition ML model is a far less process than training it – hence it’s possible to do real-time on just a phone
