Very Interesting discussion! What about those with hearing loss? Neural mapping is atypical, & noise trauma over time? Having an option is nice. Like headspace, they allow you to choose who you listen too not exactly voice first but...

Kat, this is a very interesting aspect. In cases where there was some hearing obstructions while in the womb, that were resolved after the birth, the child still connects to the moms voice first. There seems to be many aspects at play that is not fully studied.
