Outstanding paper! “The Radical Pair Mechanism and the Avian Chemical Compass: Quantum Coherence and Entanglement” I have been experimenting with Cryptocrome and the astounding quantum computing effects, especially in plants. #QuantumComputing https://arxiv.org/pdf/1502.00671.pdf …

The Arabidopsis thaliana or the mouse-ear cress plant has one of the most robust quantum effects in my research. The Cryptochromes are very well defined and can be easily accessed. This will all make far more sense in about 20 years, but mentioned now as a road marker...pic.twitter.com/zEAuyn7CwA

Thus I will posit that Cryptochromes will form the basis of an “organic” room temperature Quantum Process Computer. Accessing the “programmable” aspect is not trivial nor is it unobtainable. We will thus be closing the circle of observer and observed + life and machine.

The most profound affect and effect of Cryptochromes is a retro-causality observation via the Markoff chain models tested. Perhaps defies current logic but there it is in all of its quantum reality.

But Brian, since cryptochromes enable the visualization or the ability to sense electromagnetic fields, in animal cases primarily magnetic north for navigation purposes, how would you compensate when those fields shift as magnetic north has been doing since 1999?

Thanks for asking. Great points. cryptochromes do far more then this. They are room temperature quantum entanglement systems. I use plant based versions that are abundant, they grow on trees:🤔. However movement of magnetic north is a crisis and will impact just about all of us.

But the importance of magnetic north notwithstanding, how would you compensate for shifts in EM fields in general in a system like you describe? Particularly since they can be impacted by a multitude of external forces?

Thanks for asking. Faraday cage and mu-metals. All in a box the size of a food toaster. Billions of entanglements. No kelvins required.

          Interesting. That could work.

Indeed works it does for a few years. Just don’t tell billion dollar universities replicating the deep vowels of space to hold a few entanglements. When you have no initials before or after your name, you have perhaps more freedom to invent or have fun or both?
