Indeed. Yet just like Bitcoin it will become irrelevant what people in the gov cloud think. In fact AirDrop has become a defacto network when “they” shut off the cloud. Interesting times.

Then again it could just sneak up on them in much the same way that Bitcoin has. But it seems to me if such mesh networking is promoted on a large scale by a big company like Amazon they could face some real challenges.
