I use a Silicon on Sapphire version of the RCA 1802 that @NASA sent into space on a number of probes.
This can resist EMP and extreme heat/cold.
It can run @NASA COOL CLIPS in a learning mode that requires nearly 0 power.

Meet the The RCA 1802 from 1976. A static core CMOS device with no minimum clock frequency, that could “run” at 0Mhz and almost 0 power.
This is one reason I learned FORTH.
