I will be at an AI class at a California university and very excited to show gen 0.01 beta version of a distance #VoiceFirst ethical and permission based V2K transmitter.
This was built in the 1990s and designed to be observed. The new version is gum pack size.

This + beamforming would give targeted interfaces to individuals in a crowd. However whats the other side of the equation, whats the microphone equivalent to get the other side of the interaction?

Mica, thanks for asking. The V2K is transmit system. There is no sound unless directed to the person. As for reviving Voice this can be done a few ways. One is via Silent inner narrative voice using a SQUID device. In the demo today I used this combo.

Got it. https://laughingsquid.com/alterego-wearable-device-transmits-internal-speech/ … So the gumstick version, just miniaturized version of the long range device or a short range, personal device? Looking forward to a Jewel/Jane of my own someday lol

Mica, great question. Both versions can be used from 3 inches to about 3 miles in normal conditions. The most important aspect is the ethical use with permissions. I want to bring some public attention to the positive aspects. There are so many uses for this tech.
