1967 Richard Buckminster Fuller predicted Bitcoin and the new wealth it would create. “I'll talk about something that would be one of the realizations by 2018, a realistic—scientific accounting system—of what is wealth. Wealth isn't the gold of pirates—wealth is energy"pic.twitter.com/r0MM65E7kJ

From tetrahedron geometry, buckyballs to nutrition and #VoiceFirst true personal assistants on to Bitcoin, Buckminater Fuller was a man out of time. Crazy—until he was not. You can only see what you think is possible.

There is an endless supply of energy. The lack of energy abundance is the greatest lie ever told by and to humans. Believing this lie is the cause for all human horrors and the lack of love this brings about. we move past lies as they morph into new stories of lack—there is love.

Joshua, thanks for asking. I have it on a CD. I will upload it at some point. It is an astounding interview of futurists.

Disagree with this on two counts: 1) bitcoin does not necessarily represent the accounting of energy (coming from an investor in blockchain in the energy sector) and 2) potential energy supply compared to the demand of humans should be infinite (relatively).

Byron, I hear ya. In studying Fuller, he is referring to the philosophical concept of human energy accounting and the relationship to a monetary system that does not deflate against this energy, it allows for the conversion of energy, like we had in physics. It is quite deep.

Amazing videos you find. Thanks for sharing them with us all Also, I like that you go to the past for ideas. Maybe it's McLuhan and Fuller that have the great insights into the present and future, not the guy with the buzzwords, TEDx talk, Bestsellers.
