In 1984 we made the Apricot into the very first general purpose #VoiceFirst device.
I wrote 1000s of lines of code baked into concurrent CP/M.
We broke the limits on what was possible before the Macintosh was released.
We did things in 1984 no #VoiceFirst systems do today.https://twitter.com/BrianRoemmele/status/1083806356061089792 …

In 1984 I was programming on the worlds first #VoiceFirst device. The Apricot Portable. Using concurrent CP/M, an 8086 running at 4.7MHz, this was a start. We had NLR with 4096+ words. Although severely constrained and very limited, we learned so much that can be useful today. pic.twitter.com/smcQDvYdUW
