In 2009 I predicted Apple Pay (NFC), Apple Pay Cash, Apple Card.
It was deeply contrarian and caused some folks to label me a heretic to “startup culture”.
I was presenting the future and hoped it would save billions of dollars in distractions.

Alfred, indeed. I can only do so much. It is a well known issue with this type of metal card. Now the interesting part is Apple has patents to mitigate this issue on devices. If I knew this, others in Apple should have.

It seems Apple like many maturing companies has lost some of it’s institutional memory. Sometimes it’s worthwhile to at least glance in the rearview mirror. Instead of gaining on you, that object in the road behind you might have fallen from your trunk.
