For 99.99.9% of human history we were not exposed to the blue spectrum light of LED screens and home lighting. Blue light—permanently– destroys cells in the macula. I have used meso-Zeaxanthin to great effect since 1999. I urge you to study the issue: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6288536/ …pic.twitter.com/rmYeR7rbB1

Luis, I hear ya. Do a bit of research. Over 90 peer reviewed studies from universities. I think the data is conclusive. It is the isolation of the spectrum and the amount of exposure to the isolate.

Luis, indeed. See this all the time. As a Wikipedia editor I also read how and why this has been edited so often with the links to the peer research studies removed. At some point the commercial interests win as they have more time and people.

Luis, the IP adeesses of some of the folks that edited the most recent version of this page are the largest display manufacturers in the world. Not some folksy doctor selling blublockers. The whole thing is absurd as the science is clear. Like it was with cigarettes.

Luis, interesting study. The flaw is the duration (minutes) and distance along with single scourges not multiple sources over a day. Like lighting, portable devices and computers. It also is designed to be cheeky as to suggest the nitrogen effect of the blues sky is equivalent.

Luis, the blue sky is indeed not blue, it is very color but blue. Nitrogen absorbed blue light and this is what you experience. The authors of this paper know this, but don’t say it. Designed to be funny not informative.

Sunlight spectrum is continuous, including blue LED wavelengths. LED have very specific wavelengths as they are based of specific electron excitation levels. And I know about Rayleigh dispersion
