“Apple contractors 'regularly hear confidential details' on Siri recordings”
I will say this again, there are no reasons for even 1% of #VoiceFirst audio files to be held and reviewed for any reason. There are better ways, this is lazy and dangerous:https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2019/jul/26/apple-contractors-regularly-hear-confidential-details-on-siri-recordings …

What would you do instead? I’d far prefer no human QA.

Rene, thanks for asking! Great question. There are far more automated ways to do this with no audio ultimately. I would love to dive in more details. If Apple chooses to listen in—Apple Employees ONLY with names and pronouns removed. The current technique is against Apple ethos.

Rene, Apple is in an amazing position to use Differential Privacy and the very high context they gain from being on an iOS device to negate the need for human interventions. Apple just needs to apply this technology to a maximum effect.
