If cell phones were dumped on the market for ~$50 in the 1980s we might have a relevant data point about adoption rate. I agree the fundamentals are strong & intuitive, but voice was invested in as infrastructure without the typical constraints of permits, public resources, etc.

Nicholas, I hear ya. The thing is this is where we are today. There was no way to build a $50 Phone in the 1980s. There is a way for FREE Echo dots. Thus it’s important to not use revisionist history and see it for what it is, a revolution that the pundits could not see.
