The internet isn’t a complete free-for-all by a long shot. The internet is (mostly) collaboratively managed at a foundational level. ICANN, ARIN, W3C, IETF plus the mega corporations like the big telcos and FB. It’s a lot more like the ‘fiat’ currency.

Jon, I hear ya. It is according to what we are defining as the Internet. Flows of data and information do not touch or can be fully seen by the folks you mentioned. The Internet is not centrally controlled nor is Bitcoin. Some of the Internet is indeed fiat controlled some not.
