So if you want transformative technology in your lifetime and you see the arm chair cynics, skeptics and deniers do a pile on because they deemed something silly and irrelevant: Think of Leon Scott and the people that will move us forward by decades. Stand up for—them.https://twitter.com/BrianRoemmele/status/1146449045147115520 …

This is what I'm trying to do with living artists.

I believe that the bottleneck preventing the greatest artists from achieving their potential is failing to convince anyone to fund their wildest ambitions.

On top of that, the vast majority of collectors and patrons are incredibly myopic in terms of the kinds of work they are willing to support. I'm trying to approach art patronage with the breadth and sense of quality of the entire Metropolitan Museum of Art.

So rather than convince anyone to join me on this mission, I see investing heavily into Bitcoin as a way to afford single-handedly showing how much of a bottleneck there actually is.

So I've dedicated the rest of my life and 100% of my income and savings to showing by example after example how many great artists there are, if someone would only support them to a high degree, taking extreme creative and financial risk to do so.

Just based on the world population I assume that there must be 10,000+ such artists that I would support if only I knew of them, and was patient enough to appreciate their talents. 99% of these artists would not be doing something I currently like, so I'd have to grow into it.

So for example I found Yury Yarin on Instagram and believe he must be the greatest living mosaicist in the world. I would be shocked if he was not! So last year I commissioned the largest work I could possibly afford, to demonstrate what is at stake:pic.twitter.com/xBGXhUKpNn
