Saad, great question. I have sent dozens of folks to learn to code in COBOL. Most work from their homes and have a great view of the beach or mountains. They don’t need or care about startup fame. They love their life and live their life.

Saad, there are many reasons. Many seem very non-logical. However like all growth, we build upon existing knowledge and infrastructure. COBOL does what it does and has almost no outside hacking. There is comfort in just the safety.
