BOOOOM! Conversational Siri Shortcuts combined with Siri Suggested Automation is a 1-2 punch of powerful new #VoiceFirst features. The conversational aspect of Conversational Shortcuts is a game changer. This is one of the most important #VoiceFirst aspects of #WWDC19.pic.twitter.com/SjaO1Z1ja6

Isn’t this more robust version of workflow app? Is this essential to work for Apple voice strategy?

Matt, I hear ya. Indeed on the surface it appears to be this way, however the app is more part of iOS then a stand alone system and as such has deeper access to system functions and control of Siri AI. It was needed to move forward and I expect more on this path.

This is hopefully what we are waiting for: https://developer.apple.com/siri/  cc @bretkinsella Also the Login with Apple is another major piece.

Daniel, indeed it is a start. This is really the amazing work by the Shortcuts team. Many folks will not really appreciate this path, but it is vital for Apple. However it does not replace a SiriOS requirement. This needs to happen this year.

Thought the accessibility feature interacting with any Apple device was something that was innovative and helpful... light years away from what the other competition is doing

Did you see Google's accessibility features from Google I/O? I'm always impressed by Apple's accessibility innovation, but they're not alone in innovating around that area:https://futurear.co/2019/05/08/future-ear-daily-update-5-8-19/ …

Can you unpack that for me? What will it do that’s different? Thanks!

Or...it’s just another misunderstood feature nobody uses. 10B Siri interactions a month across 400M devices is less than one usage a day. I believe in Conversational AI, but we have to look at the numbers and where people are engaging, it’s not mobile voice assistants.
