I can say this with absolute certainty.
If one is building a #VoiceFirst device—for in-ear use especially, it is of paramount importance to study Muzak human factors research—back to 1922.
No one is conducting studies like this today.

Just looked up Muzak. I’m old and I not afraid to admit I like elevator music! I often have DirecTV music channel 820 on in the background when I’m working at night!

Walter, I hear ya. You know I have read 100s of studies Muzak performed that showed insights that are not seen on the internet or university studies. Your use of channel 820 is not entirely unique. Now imagine if

Music such an influencer on human mood and behavior!! Fascinating Kmart had studies correlating Muzak and sales.

Walter, indeed! I have so many studies that show clear increases in sales in my library. One restaurant in NYC had 50% increase in check size from one sequence of Muzak. They also have studies on loudness and even bathroom Muzak and the impact it has to a business.
