I have come to find no one in the AI community knows of the Muzak human factors research. Most never heard of Muzak. Some discover just Yerkes-Dodson law after my symposiums. James, thank you. I used to be shy about my diving. When I started this in the 1970s I would dive for electronic parts at RCA and Bell Labs in New Jersey. One day I saw notebooks full of research just tossed. In the divestiture of ATT I rescued 700+ lbs of human factors research.
