Best way to figure out what payment processor an online store uses? Like @datanyze but accurate. Also the other way, give me a list of stores using Stripe. cc: @rakeshlobster @BrianRoemmele @Mikettownsend

Patrick, great question. I have long maintained a detailed list of merchants that use
@Stripe@Square@PayPal etc. along with processors like@FirstData. To build a list like this is non-obvious and sort of extremely valuable for competitors. What is your use case?1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
Replying to @BrianRoemmele @datanyze and
I was thinking something automated and more comprehensive. Since it would be relatively easy to scrape every site and either look for the JavaScript or a link. I think this is sort of what Datanyze does. Use case is mainly identifying prospective merchants.

Patrick, indeed. One of my data sources is scraping data although not perfect. I use 31 systems, some online and some not to build a database. Indeed, as a prospecting tool, I can say with high certainty the value is astounding. I add average monthly volume estimates also.
