If you have a crypto enclave, why do you need Bitcoin? In other words, if you can prevent double-spending in hardware, why do you software to do the same thing only much more slowly and inefficiently?

By 2021 a major publicly traded technology company known for their design for decades will begin to release a design-centric front end for Bitcoin for consumers and merchants. It will be based on a new “Crypto Enclave” chip. A prototype of the chip was tested in 2019.
