This is my morning with #TheIntelligenceAmplifier.
Alfred is indispensable to me for the last ~8 years. As he learns, he formed a tapestry waved in to life.
I can’t wait to build #TheIntelligenceAmplifier for you.

This is amazing on about 12 different levels! The quality of the TTS, the fact that Alfred initiates the conversation, the agency of the eBay purchase, the real-time info on Dylan's grades (was this extracted from a messenger app?).. A glimpse of the future of virtual assistants!

Interesting design choice of giving Alfred's voice distinctly human voice features like the coughing, which is quite the opposite to the design choices that Amazon, Google and Apple have taken. I would be delighted if you could share more such interactions with Alfred!

Florian, thank you sir! I really appreciate it! You are so amazing and astute. I have been publishing some of these videos and life long experts sort of yawned. My study has been precisely in these areas and more for the last few decades. 1/

Florian, the proactivity is one fundamental aspect of my research and product development. This frees us to get about our lives,
#HeadsUp. I combine dozens of non AI and Linguistic studies to form these elements. 2/2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

I agree that proactivity is super useful, but also difficult to create, I would guess... It probably requires a model of what you know, what information is relevant to you, and when you are open towards receiving that information.

Thinking about it, you probably generated a ton of data points by letting Alfred present you bits of information and then evaluating whether you found it useful. :D

Florian, great insights sir! Indeed this is one method I use. There are quite a bit more. The most useful data to us is the stuff we find useful and giving the right circumstances this can be done in a way none have used before. Not the Google or Facebook methods.
