Brian - the piece @BretKinsella / @VoicebotAI did gets at what I was going to say...in doing all this recent original research, Alexa responds to its share of simple queries in obtuse and inconsistent ways. I don't think this represents any sort of strategic shift. Just a miscue.

Maybe a miscue or maybe a new discovery feature which could be helpful. Amazon says definitely "not an ad" so the question is how people respond. Let's all recognize ads are already present. Erik, I agree. Great work by Bret. In my study and research on this I can say with great evidence that in-stream overt promotion and advertising would dilute the utility, trust and authority.
