Lots of great insights/data here including this: "3rd-party voice apps have a discovery problem more than a usage problem. Whereas only about 49% of users say they have tried third-party voice apps, 35% have become monthly active users. That's a 72% conversion rate." #VoiceFirsthttps://twitter.com/voicebotai/status/1105505059733979137 …

Loved this point... I think Bret is right - lots of killer applications under the Voice umbrella, but each tailored to different environments and modalitiespic.twitter.com/l0BNzn23HB

I agree with K.P. In the end #VoiceFirst has to move away from app basis as far as the UX is concerned.

That's where I thought Siri Shortcuts powered by Workflow was possibly going to take us (& may still)... less moving away from apps, and more interconnecting all the bits from each app to allow the assistant to go and piece together what you're looking for. No burden on the user.

“Imagine every app on the app store. Now deconstruct all those apps into Jobs to be Done, or intents, or taxonomies. And then imagine, with something like crayons, you can start connecting these things artistically any way you want, without mechanically doing it.” @BrianRoemmele

Folks, thank you! You know the interesting thing is we have the technology to do this sort of Jobs To Be Done deconstruction of #VoiceFirst apps today on all platforms. The quagmire is what I call App mentality. It is very easy to solve and monetize so developers have incentive.
