Should this maybe say "expression identification"? Or do they have a scientific definition of "emotion" that they're working off of? We barely know what we're feeling ourselves. How're we supposed to know if a machine is better at reading us?

Kathryn, great insights. The work of Paul Ekman, I have been a long student of his work, shows that we indeed can extract emotional intent however the element most miss is why that emotion was transmitted. Thus context is vital. This AI will know the emotions the rest is complex.
