Rene, wonderful analysis as always sir! You know you are not far off on VoiceID. Apple has a landmark patent on this: “Device access using voice authentication” allow users to unlock a device or use a feature with voice biometrics.

So if voice ID is the possible future? How do you unlock the device in a crowded room? Or in a quiet environment?

Jonah, great question. The Lighthouse AI patents include a FaceID-like authorizer that can work with a simple camera setup at a distance of 30 feet. This with Primesense patents give Apple a great advantage.

What about heart rate from Apple Watch as a means to unlock iPhone or other idevices?

Jonah, great idea. There are some unique biometrics that Apple has patents on. One patent from Primesense can sense your pulse and unique aspects it has from a distance to confirm with confidence other metrics for authorization.
