“Brian we are convinced you found a very large hole in the thinking of all the companies that make #VoiceFirst devices. Agree current AI approach is flawed and are impressed you saw this over 20 years ago. The billions spent to find out what you know already is hard to reconcile”https://twitter.com/BrianRoemmele/status/1098584491822505985 …

The current approach to AI is akin to improving the speed of a car by only modifying its aerodynamics, weight, and traction... but not by improving the engine itself... You can only make a car go so much faster without getting a new and more powerful engine

Daniel, brilliant poetry sir. Thank you. Now get those that have become arrogant with the “not invented here” “we have our own visionaries” “where is your PhD” “send your CV to Human Resources to see if there is a position” folks to understand, that would be magical.

I’m a 21 y/o Cuban living in Miami. Been trying to build up my startup for 3 years I kept trying to play this game, how I believe it should be played. Selling them a big vision, story, and product insight. Trying to demonstrate my brilliance, resourcefulness, perseverance...

You can present something they already understand, then it might work. But otherwise it’s almost futile To understand something new, you need to first care to understand. If you want people to care, you have to play the club politics ...

Only from what I’ve learned, I’m a bit concerned. You need resources to build your vision, and you seeking that. Hacking into an existing power structure, won’t likely happen through displays of brilliance. It’s a different game, and hard game that has to be played to win

Daniel, wisdom sir. Don’t ever give up my friend. They want the next thing to look like the last thing. But it just may look like a 21 year old Cuban guy. I let out steam in this Tate diary for future-as folks wake up and see what I did. They wake & say they “knew it all along”.

Giving up would only prove them right, and quite frankly I’m too stubborn to let that happen And we’ll both prove them wrong
(P.s. I took the time to write this because I empathized with the steam you released. It struck a cord with me)0 replies 0 retweets 1 likeThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
