Is there any reason is is spread across two different podcasts?

Daniel, I will take the blame here. In the end I talk too much. I wind up interrupting myself mid sentence and go down some rabbit hole. I hope you find the conversation useful.

I have seen talks be released as two different episodes within the same podcast or cross-posted in two different podcasts but not where the discussion is split between two podcasts so no one can follow the whole conversation.

Hey Daniel. I appreciate your feedback. The reason I wanted to play this on my 2 podcasts is because I feel that listeners of both podcasts would be interested in this interview. I was trying to decide which podcast to put the interview on, and I couldn’t decide, so I chose both.

I will listen to them tomorrow, I am very interested in Brian's talks. I thought it would be simpler for listeners if you posted both episodes in both podcast feeds. You may have listeners that only listen to one or the other, I know it took me awhile to find the part 1 before.

I listened to both and really enjoyed them. To answer your questions, I do not think society will ever be ready for it but nor was it ready for the printing press, which was used to set the Europe ablaze. I think we are finding society is not ready for TW/FB/Google either.

A society's readiness does not mean it can't or shouldn't happen. I also do not see it as inevitable but that certain parts of it are probable and some parts are not. I do like how Brian brings history and psychology into this context as it is sorely lacking from computing.

Daniel, such words of wisdom sir. You stated it in a way I have yet to do it. Thank you! I fully agree.

I am interested in how we can better protect users data by storing it locally (or undecryptable in the cloud) and our assistants use that data. I think also having a memory keeper for your loved ones is a good idea, I am not sure you need so much data for it, maybe a subset.
