Siri lags far behind Alexa & Google Assistant. For Apple & HomePod to win the living room, they'll need voice toys for the kids who play therehttps://tcrn.ch/2Ifj24X

I recall listening 2 Adam Cheyer @ http://Listen.AI confab in 2014:. He basically said that (I’m paraphrasing now) that he is suspicious of emotions. I feel Siri (&
#Alexa & others) need 2 get#emotionAI 2 be useful 2more sophisticated#voice users. IMHO@BrianRoemmele1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

Nicole, thank you! Great insights. You know
@acheyer is one of my hero’s. Just brilliant. We humans are emotional beings. Everything we do is neuropeptide emotions. We convey and read so much information via these intents. I build around this. It expands the “Shannon limit”.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
& yes, re Shannon.
I'm thrilled that today- 5 yrs post that observation, voice-driven #emotionAI is now a "staple' in#developers ' toolkits (if they choose so). I so go by facial & voice-cues 2 "read" a situation/the state of a human or other being. esp. when living w teen

Nicole, indeed. I hear ya. The Affect we humans transmit has been built on millions of years of biological evolution. Our very survival is tied to the 43 muscles in our face and the sonics of our voice. Two thumb typing erased so much. The Last Interface will bring it back.

Nicole, great question. The Phonological Loop connecting buffer memory with Broca & Wernicke area is our silent voice, you hear it now as you read this. This is the first and last interface to us. As for Noetics, I do work in this area. This human aspect is THE next 1000 years.

Nicole, awesome. You are a revolutionary and quite ahead of your time. I have quite a bit of research I have performed on emotional intents from over 30 years and studied under Paul Ekman. I will put some stuff together for you. Amazing times as we move from “talking thumbs”.
