5. Also, with lower absolute price points for some of these services it will be easier for users of Android ecosystem to experience Apple products. In that sense, Apple is going all in wrt to its future growth through these platforms.

6. It make sense to open up these services, go for far more integrations with other platforms. The question is whether Apple would be able to deliver great experience with these services when capabilites of hardware do not exist. Their purchase of Beats acknowledged this.

7. I see Apple going more aggressive on purchasing more such services in the next 3-5 years rather than build themselves from scratch. Especially the ones which help them build long term moat on Watch, Airpods and HomePod rather than build themselves from scratch.

8. I would say that would be a good utilisation of the cash they have on their balance sheet.

9. One thing that gets discussed often is Apple's lack of focus on Siri. That is one big miss from Apple all this while, but something which is going to change big time now. They always had sound strategy on
#VoiceFirst , something which@BrianRoemmele has always been mentioning.1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
10. Airpod was Apple's trojan horse in
#VoiceFirst and i think it is a better positioning. They chose Airpod over HomePod, choosing a larger market and more number of use cases. With better SiriOS, the execution could have been better@BrianRoemmele1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
11. Expect opening up of SiriOS a lot more in the future, and a plethora of apps for Airpods which inturn will help them gain a foothold in HomePod market as well. They would not be competing with Amazon Echo, but will increase the market overall.

12. I can see similar equation settle in the market in next few years once VR/AR/Voice become mainstream, with
#Apple taking premium position. In fact getting a lot more Android users to their ecosystem, as the price barrier to experience Apple products gets lower vs with iPhone.1 reply 0 retweets 1 likeShow this thread -
13. All this would be in backdrop of falling iPhone revenues and overall revenues of Apple in short term, falling stock prices and lots of criticism. Interesting to see how Apple tackles this. If executed perfectly, a classic case of losing the battle, but winning the war!
