First of all, DISCLAIMER: I don't use the http://home.app at all. All my interactions are done via HomePod.

1 - Adding accessories and configure them is incredibly easy: this flow is on par with AirPod pairing. It just works and you're set in a few seconds.

Same goes for scene creation and new automation: both setups are very easy to understand and quick to be done with. Amazing experience!pic.twitter.com/x8nlHInPTb

Speaking of automation, the choices are still limited: when my entrance door sensor opens, I want a snapshot of the camera sent to me as a notification if I'm not at home. This is not available yet (I can get a notification though)pic.twitter.com/Dc7hXe8goR

2 - As I said, I use the HomePod to control my things. It's awesome to control devices just with your voice. I haven't touched my smart light switches since I've installed them (beside for a few tests). I've removed the batteries from my Air Conditioners remotes.
