Interesting. The key phrase there is “not too distant future”. There has been some research that says it will be 50% by 2020 so I personally wouldn’t take that bet, but I’m listening....

A quick google search (not voice) shows a lot of consultant figures that show this 50% figure, while I found this article outlining Google said voice is ~20% of mobile searches in 2016 (so less when non mobile), BUT apparently Google said this figure was 25% in 2010... so
