Employees don't like it, it reduces collaboration and creativity, why do businesses still insist on open office spaces? Does it save so much money in real estate that it actually makes up for the cost in creativity and morale? I find that hard to believe. Anyone have data?https://twitter.com/BrianRoemmele/status/1059137992441253888 …
Alun, all great points and quite apparent if empirically examined. In my years of presenting this data I find it really boils down to a “fashion statement”. The image it presents to the world, they think is “look we are hip”. Sadly it damages so much.

If it's fashion, who are the 'cool kids' we're trying to impress? And are they impressed?
