That, plus memoji, makes Apple an identity agent. No mention of HID in the mention of this, but that partnership is there. Focusing on the UX allows them to push enterprises to move forward. We are an OS version and maybe a hardware tweak from digital ID deployed at scale

As for building entry, that space has the same hardware problem that POS has. Access control vendors use different specs which makes ubiquity in product hard. We tried to build this at the bank years ago on Android and just couldn’t scale on the physical access control side.
