Nicole Lindner & @BrianNosek asked this question to 1000s of ppl in an unpub. paper.
Up till a certain age, ppl feel older than they are (on avg). After a certain age, ppl feel younger than they are.
The crossover point where ppl feel exactly as old as they are? TWENTY-FIVE. https://twitter.com/Nicole_Cliffe/status/1204813768221310977 …

Not sure if it's the same data, but I plotted IAT demo data to see "how old is old?" 25 year olds think "old" means 62, but 62 y/os think "old" means 71. 25 y/os think "middle aged" means 50, but 50 y/os think it means 54. So old almost always means "older than me".pic.twitter.com/Ms7yI20yao

yes, same data, just more of it! Some of that is in the poster. Those data get significant public interest -- that poster is the most popular poster ever from my lab. It should really be written up as a paper, with a heavy emphasis on beautiful figures.
