My grandparents were in a work camp run by the Nazis during WWII. They were beaten within an inch of their lives and were almost sent to Bergen-Belsen. They were lucky while others were not. I’m so upset about this talk that I can’t breathe right now.

Okay, so he's saying we're going to be feeding and sheltering up to 20 *million* migrants? Who will pay for this? Who will administer it? Or will it be like Escape From New York and we'll just throw them in a city to fend for themselves?

We taxpayers will and the private prisons providing the “service” will make the money.

Please, someone needs to ask Trump why, if he and his base hate and fear immigrants so much, they are detaining them when they can more easily deport them? Why isn’t the media following the money?

If the people ask for asylum, we can't just deport them. There's a process to go through, and the immigration courts are so backed up (bc money is pouring into detention and troops instead of judges and lawyers) so 1000s (mostly families) will be detained for months/years.

I've been out of the office. I come back and this is the first tweet I see. Now we're establishing concentration camps housing 20 million people. WTF happened while I was in a meeting today?
