As an assessment of the Mueller probe, this memo is a dud. As a view of the surveillance in the case of Carter Page, the memo makes the hypothetical argument that the surveillance should not have been approved. Right or wrong, that hypothetical doesn’t change much.
Does it not bother you at all that one campaign paid for information that became the basis of a FISA warrant? Does this not provide clear and convincing evidence that Congress needs to reform the program?
