So your argument is that Dems needed to destroy the Senate before Republicans had the chance to? Bottom line - we will never know, but we do know that Sen Dems made it really easy to pull the nuke option trigger on the "unconstitutional" filibuster of nominations.

No my argument is that we had to destroy it to overcome GOP obstruction at the time and confirm a reasonable number of noms. If we hadn’t McConnell would have more vacancies to fill now. And McConnell would have immediately gone nuclear immediately on all judges when he took over
